Ignite. Shape. Thrive.

I’ve recently joined Inspire Spaces as a Senior Account Manager, bringing with me nearly two decades of experience in the furniture and workplace industry. I spent the last 19 years and 8 months at Azzurro, where I developed my skills across client relationships, project delivery, and helping organisations create better environments. This year, I am celebrating my 20th year in the industry, a milestone that reflects how much I’ve enjoyed being part of a sector that constantly evolves and continues to inspire me. My career has always been driven by building trusted partnerships and helping clients achieve spaces that truly work for them.

When I’m not working, most of my time is spent with my wife and our two daughters, aged 3 and 6, who keep life full with gymnastics, swimming, drama classes and cycling – there’s always something happening, and I enjoy being involved in what they love. Outside of family life, I like to keep things exciting. I’m a former motorcycle racer who has now swapped the adrenaline for a microphone, doing commentary at Knockhill Racing Circuit. It turns out talking about fast bikes is much safer than falling off them.

I’m also a keen cyclist and an occasional golfer… although “golfer” might be a generous term.

One of my favourite places to spend time is the little holiday flat we have on Cumbrae. It’s become our regular weekend escape, a place where we can slow down, enjoy the island, and spend proper time together. Most of our holidays these days are centred around the kids, so places like Center Parcs have become firm favourites as well.

We also have a small camper that we take out on day trips, which gives us the freedom to explore new spots whenever we can. Further afield, the south of France has always been a popular destination for us, and it’s somewhere I hope to return to when the girls are a little older and able to enjoy it more fully.

The moments that give me the most energy at Inspire Spaces are when I’m working closely with clients from that very first conversation through to delivery. I enjoy understanding what they’re trying to achieve, bringing ideas together, and being part of a team that’s genuinely committed to creating something that fits their needs.

What I appreciate most is seeing people step into the finished environment and start using it in a way that feels natural to them. Whether it’s a space designed for collaboration, concentration, wellbeing or something completely different, there’s a real satisfaction in seeing it come to life and knowing it works for the people it was created for.

My first instinct is to say an office dog, there’s something about having a bit of personality and warmth in a space that instantly lifts the atmosphere. But beyond that, I think every workspace should offer a quiet nook or focused area. Having somewhere people can step away from noise and distractions, even just for a short time, makes a huge difference. A space that allows for proper focus and reset is something I think every environment benefits from.
