Karen Bass – Business Support Coordinator

Outside of work I am a mum to a 13-year-old football mad teenager and a wife to his football coach, which means the majority of my time is spent either watching or talking about football, as if that wasn’t enough, I am also the treasurer at my son’s football club – Allerton Bywater Miners.  After football there isn’t much time for anything else, but family time is important either going on holiday or a bit of competitive fun like darts is where you will find us.

I have 2 favourite places in the world, my first is New York from my first visit 21 years ago, then taking our son with us, it holds a special place in my heart.

My second is Lanzarote it just feels like home away from home, we love the chilled vibe!

For me with office furniture is seeing an empty space turned into an amazing working environment or social space.

A good coffee machine and different working spaces, collaboration spaces are great for teams working away from your desk, but also quiet spaces that you can concentrate without the noise of the office both are important to the office environment.
